The Home Surroundings Main Lesson by Amanda Bell
Guidance and stories for the Home Surroundings Main Lesson in Classes 1 and 2, for teachers in Steiner Waldorf schools in particular, but also teachers of 6 - 8 year-olds everywhere. The author relates nature stories to the consciousness of the developing child and, as well as some original stories, gives guidance on writing your own. The book is illustrated by children from Classes 1 and 2 at The St Michael Steiner School in London.
Café, library & book shop
Our Saturday training day timetable is necessarily very full, but there are three breaks - two short and one longer - for social exchange in the supportive atmosphere of Rudolf Steiner House, to browse in the book shop or visit the library for resources and materials or to enjoy coffee, tea, snacks and hot meals in the Biodynamic café.
